Develop a programme activity plan
To receive a Heartbeat Challenge Award you will need to make at least 5 changes (from the baseline) in each of the target areas. The initiatives must be new initiatives and not already be in place at the time of your baseline check.
The results of the staff survey need to be taken into account when developing the programme plan. The most popular requests should be implemented first, demonstrating to the staff that their input has been noted and valued.
The programme plan should outline the programme objectives, activities, and evaluation methods that will be undertaken in each section.
Developing a plan for activities is key to successful initiatives and it may be best to initially develop activities for the first three months. The programme activity plan can then be revisited to check on progress and to make any necessary changes.
